Yes, we are going to do it.  It’s going to happen.  We are going to RV fulltime.  And yes, my entire family thinks we are just plain crazy.  Yahtzee, doing the Polar Bear Plunge type of crazy.

But, our adventures are going to take us places.  And we are going to need somewhere to live when we get there, right?  Hence, the fulltime RV.

Granted, we have plenty of work to do before we just head out and begin exploring.  We have bills to get paid, debt to take care of, an initial trip to plan, a camper to organize, and the list goes on and on.  Tentatively, I’m figuring it’s going to take us about 8 months before we can really get started, if not more.  We might be looking at closer to a year.  However, the rewards in the end will be worth it.

Traveling the US via camper isn’t everyone’s idea of an adventure, and that’s ok.  We all have different things that we find interesting, and we all have different ideas of what an adventure is.  Our goal, is to discover an adventure, one day at a time.  Some of them will be boring but necessary (especially when I have to explain for the 20th time WHY we shouldn’t go out to eat so often), others will be adventures that are lifetime memory makers.  I want my family to have many of those lifetime memories, those stories you tell your grandkids about.

Who wants to tell their grandkids “Yeah, we worked 6 days a week, were too tired to have family time, too tired to go on adventures, too broke for vacations, and too dependent on our schedules to be spontaneous, but we have a bunch of stuff!”  What kind of life is that?  What kind of life is that for a child to grow up in?  They need to see it, live it, do it.

So, that’s what we are going to do.

We are going to see it, live it, do it.

We are going to Discover An Adventure.
